The 2045 Comprehensive Plan was adopted by
the Henderson County Board of Commissioners
on March 20, 2024.
 

Adopting this Comprehensive Plan is the first step in the implementation process. Now that the plan goals, recommendations, and action steps are finalized, an implementation matrix can be crafted to prioritize the steps to accomplish the outcomes of this 20-year plan. Although many recommendations will take years to complete, some actions are priorities for Phase I, like amending the Land Development Code (LDC).
